Meeting Minister for Communication, Climate Change and Environment

We are also delighted to have had a very good meeting at Lenister House with Minister Denis Naughton, who was very interested in supporting our innovative proposals. We presented the Minister with our plans for a series of Innovative Ecovillages across the Island and also a range of other areas we are interested in exploring as part of our Social Enterprise: from replacing plastic with Eco-Packaging solutions to having our own Enriched Earth Conference and Awards.

Enriched Earth Logo

As we continue to grow in our plans, aspirations and actions. John-Paul was inspired with this logo design based on his studies of the ancient druidic ogam alphabet! This symbol of the alphabet is called Ur and literally means ‘Earth!’ The fact that the symbol also is in the form of two E’s makes it a perfect logo for our project. The ethos of Enriched Earth also being based on working to preserve Irish culture and heritage is also perfectly encapsulated in the symbol.  We will soon update our website to include this little gem!

Climate Ambassador Gathering

John-Paul Patton (Enriched Earth Director) is also delighted to have been invited to speak at a Climate Ambassador Gathering in Sligo on Saturday 21st April. Enriched Earth is proud to be a project being implemented as part of this cutting edge programme to help Ireland meet its Carbon Targets and SDG’s.

Onwards!
